Michigan and cider mills go hand-in-hand, as do cider mills and fall. Fortunately for me, I live relatively close to a number of cider mills, as a matter of fact, many are within running or biking distance. Even though my husband and I work insanely crazy hours, we try to make a trip to one of our favorites at least once a year: Paint Creek Cider Mill. It’s a beautiful 5 mile, 10 mile round trip, trip down the Paint Creek Trail and always ends in bellies full of yummy donuts and cider. This year was extra special, as it was Desmond’s first official trip. He agrees, it was delicious and he will be back for more treats!
