Welcome to Day 2 of our Disney Adventures. Day 1 can be found right here. Epcot!! My least favorite park as a little kid has risen in the rankings to my second favorite park. (Nothing will ever top the Magic Kingdom.) I love exploring the World Showcase and pretending I am backpacking through the different countries as the hubby and I did back in 2009. Or heading over to Future World and riding Test Track or take a boat ride through the Land. Epcot was the perfect park to start our adventure in. Although it was crowded, we took advantage of extra magic hours, since we were staying on Disney Property and were able to get on Spaceship Earth, the Seas with Nemo and Friends and the Land Boat ride with absolutely no wait. Plus, little guy had the chance to meet Mickey, Goofy and Minnie for the first time with a short wait thanks to a FastPass+. A little adventure through the World Showcase, some Moroccan food for lunch, a quick stroller nap and an early dinner at the Electric Umbrella resulted in a delightful first day at Disney World
Leaving Epcot in the mid-afternoon, we rode a bus over to Caribbean Beach Resort (as it was at the transportation area ready to leave) in an attempt to head over to the Run Disney Princess Half Marathon Expo. Now, let it be known that we could have picked any bus to ride on over to the expo and we picked the only resort to be stuck in the middle of a Lake Buena Vista police chase. This resulted in us hanging out on the bus for 20 minutes before we were able to hit the main roads outside of the resort and make it to the expo. Run Disney Expos are always fun, but little man was not feeling the excitement as much as his momma was. We made a quick loop around, won some free rice (Thanks, Success Rice!), picked up my packet and race number (coral C, woohoo!!) and headed back to the hotel to get some rest for next day adventures in Animal Kingdom.
