Let’s be honest and up front with one thing. I’ve never been a huge fan of Michigan winters. Yes, I agree the snow is pretty and it makes me appreciate summer so much more. Yet, overall, I really don’t care for the constant cold, the gray skies and the lack of green…everywhere. I’ve become even less of a fan of Michigan winters as a photographer. The winters make it hard to take family photos outside for about 3-4 months of the year. Thankfully, I now have a designated studio space inside my home in Rochester, Michigan and can take family photos all year round!
