Learning to Wash Our Hair | Personal Post

Des’s bath time is usually an event during which I get soaked from head to toe. This would be fine if I was the one taking a bath, but usually I am trying to complete the nearly impossible task of cleaning Des from head-to-toe with his body wash while attempting to stay dry. Des usually has other plans, such as getting more water outside the tub than inside, finding which letter is the letter ‘B’ (current obsession…not sure why?) and trying to talk me into taking all the bath toys out of the tub with him once bath time is over. He usually (somewhat) wins the later argument, decides that all the letters are the letter ‘B’ and gets a fair amount of water all over the bathroom floor. Tonight’s bath event also involved Des deciding he could wash his own hair. I call that a win. One less thing for me. Except he doesn’t think rinsing his hair was necessary. He was looking pretty cute and almost talked me into leaving the soap suds alone…
